Arriving on time
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of class to allow yourself time to prepare mentally and physically. Each class starts with deep relaxation - a very enjoyable and beneficial part of the class that you should not miss.

Arriving a little early or on time would also minimise disruption to other students.

Health condition
Inform the teacher before the class if you have any injury or medical condition, for example:
- back, knee, neck problem
- pregnancy
- high blood pressure
- etc.

This is important as some postures (or asanas) may be unsuitable for your condition and hence may need to be modified or not practised at all.

What to wear
Wear clothing that is loose and comfortable such as a cotton top and track pants, or gym wear. No footwear is required during yoga practice, bring along your clean feet.

Eating before class
It is best to practise yoga on an empty stomach. You should not eat for at least 2 hours before class. If you have a heavy meal, then it is best to allow 3-4 hours before class.

What you need to bring
Yoga mats and blankets are provided for your use. However, if you would prefer to use your own mat or blanket, you are most welcome to bring them with you.
